Spreadsheet editor · Browser + native

XLSX-grade, down to the last border.

A from-scratch formula engine, number-format engine, grid and chart renderer. Real workbooks round-trip through it (import, edit, export, re-import) and nothing gets silently dropped.

The formula engine

The grid does the maths. Exactly.

A pure, deterministic evaluator with XLSX-exact semantics: left-associative ^, no cross-type coercion, and errors like #DIV/0! that propagate instead of collapsing. Cycles get caught before they are ever written.

AI spreadsheet generationPro

The model writes GridMD. The grid renders it live.

Describe the workbook you need. The AI streams GridMD, one line per cell, and Lattice materialises each block as it arrives. Formulas land as formulas, not flattened values, and every generated cell is yours to edit.

Formatting & charts

Eighteen chart types. One in-house renderer.

Data bars, colour scales and icon sets evaluate live in-cell. Charts render as SVG with genuine per-type geometry: squarified treemaps, OHLC candles, least-squares trendlines with R². No chart library underneath.

Round-trip fidelity

Import, edit, export, re-import. Nothing breaks.

Styles, borders, number formats and charts are written back via a custom OOXML layer. When an import islossy, it’s labelled honestly, and the original bytes are always kept for download.

Daily driving

Built for hands that never leave the keys.

01

Freeze panes & split view

Pin headers, split the viewport, and keep your bearings while you scroll a hundred thousand rows.

02

The fill handle, faithful

Drag to extend a series, copy formulas with relative refs adjusting, double-click to fill down.

03

Validation dropdowns

List, range and custom-formula rules with in-cell pickers. Invalid entries get flagged, never lost.

04

Sort, filter, outline

Multi-key sorts, filter chips per column, and collapsible row groups with subtotals.

05

Keyboard parity

F2 to edit, Ctrl-arrows to jump data edges, Esc to cancel. The muscle memory you already have.

06Pro

Macros, sandboxed

Record actions into replayable JS macros; they run in a worker with no network and undo as one step.

Pivots

Reshape the data without touching it.

Drop a range into a pivot, then drag fields into rows, columns and values; the summary builds itself and the source stays exactly as it was. If you’d rather not start from a blank one, Recommended PivotTables proposes a layout from the shape of your data.

A PivotChart binds straight to the pivot, so re-pivoting the table redraws the chart. Note: the structured table underneath keeps a total row and grows on its own as you type new rows.

What-if analysis

Ask the sheet what it’d take.

Goal Seek solves it backwards: name the output you want and the cell that’s allowed to move, and it finds the input (secant, with a bisection fallback, over the real recalc engine).

Data tables sweep one or two inputs across a grid of outcomes, and Scenario Manager keeps your base, low and high cases a click apart. It’s modelling, not just recording what already happened.
